We are coming down to the home stretch and need to get things set for Atlanta. We will be meeting this Saturday and probably at least once next week prior to the trip. Permission slips need to be in on Saturday. If you have not gotten yours yet please download them from this post and bring them.

I need to know who is going to Atlanta by Saturday. We are leaving the night of the 14th, and will return mid afternoon on april 18th. As of right now I don’t see a charge for students to go on the trip, but you will need to bring money for food for Lunch each day and dinner (if you choose not to eat the food provided by the hotel). Breakfast is also at the hotel.

Saturday we will be meeting at the space at 9am. to have a meeting and then fundraiser. If you are planning to go to Atlanta I need to know by Saturday or I will assume you are not going and will adjust the number of hotel rooms we have accordingly. If you are not coming to the meeting Saturday please call or email your status for Atlanta.

Also Parents, if you would like to attend and stay in the same hotel with the team you will need to make your reservations by midnight on Saturday to get the same rate as the team. After this time you will be on your own for accommodations and rates. We did it! Saturday March 20th, 2010 team 2775 won the St. Louis regional competition. We were ranked 3rd going into the alliance selection and were chosen by the #1 alliance. We went on through the eliminations with some tough matchups but were able to secure our gold metal in a touch match with a 1 point victory.

Special thanks to our alliance partners 1208 and 3284, we could not have done it without you!!

This win secures us an invite to the world championship next month. In order to attend we will have to work hard to raise the funds to attend. The registration for the event is $5000 and travel will probably be another $5000.

The reason for invite only meetings is that it will only be Mrs. Stone there and the things that are going to be worked on have been assigned. There are lots of things to do but we need people on task and not just showing up to hang out. If you think you should be there for those meetings please see the paragraph below.

Invites: if you are on the drive team, Presentation team, or leading scouting consider yourself invited.  If you would like to come and have an exact plan of what you are going to be working on than please see myself (Greg) Prior to wed.

We need to make some stuff in the shop tonight and so there won’t be a meeting tonight. See you all on thursday.
